Description of the company:
Have you always wanted to learn more about KPMG? Are you interested in the future of the cybersecurity industry? Are you wondering what it's like to work as a cybersecurity consultant?
Description of the job:
A stand-up meeting is held at the start of the day to allocate new duties and discuss the status of current initiatives. You'll talk about strategic strategies for your clients and get updates on current risks during this stand-up. After the stand-up, you will meet briefly with a member of the technical team to talk about a complicated problem a client is having.
The analysis of a recent security issue at a customer will then become more serious.
After determining the underlying cause, you will create a report with suggestions for enhancements. During a video conference later that morning, you will go over this report with the client, walking them through your analysis and offering suggestions for a solution.
In the afternoon, you'll work on strategic improvement proposals and action plans for a client looking to optimize their Security Operations Center (SOC). You'll review relevant research, past case studies, and best practices to construct a strong approach.
You and your coworkers will frequently engage in casual knowledge-sharing sessions. In addition to sharing insights from new technology, best practices, and current projects, these seminars provide excellent learning opportunities. They also provide an opportunity for enjoyment and team building.
Occasionally, you lead a practical workshop with the customer, introducing them to the newest security products and explaining their prices, efficacy, advantages, disadvantages, etc. You guide them through certain use cases and make sure they choose a solution that works for the company.
At the conclusion of the day, you will update the project status reports and develop a thorough action plan for a different project. With a quick assessment of your work and a strategy for the following day, you will end the day.
For us, enhancing our clients' cyber resilience involves more than simply working hard; it also involves having fun, learning new things constantly, and cooperating. Every day offers fresh obstacles as well as chances to further your understanding and have a significant influence.
