As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will be instrumental in the creation of our cutting-edge hardware, which will have a direct influence on millions of households and hasten the transition to environmentally friendly heating options. 
What you're going to do: 
. For our vertically integrated product ecosystem, which includes intelligent home heating and cooling systems, you will design and build cutting-edge HVAC hardware. 
. Conduct intricate engineering computations to ascertain the ideal system dimensions, functionality, and effectiveness. 
. Encourage the creation of features and functions that cater to the unique needs of households in Europe. 
. Create and put into practice creative technological solutions to accomplish difficult design objectives. 
. Make thorough technical documentation, such as test plans, system diagrams, drawings, and requirements. 
. To guarantee smooth product integration, work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, controls). 
. Keep abreast on the most recent developments in HVAC trends and technology. 
. To make sure goods fulfill design requirements and industry standards, conduct and evaluate performance testing. 
What are you going to need? 
. Mechanical engineering or a similar discipline at the bachelor's degree level. 
. At least five years of expertise designing and developing HVAC systems. 
. An important benefit is demonstrated expertise in the design and development of high-end heat pumps. 
. A major benefit is having extensive understanding of propane (R290) heat pump technology. 
. shown ability to manage and carry out challenging technical tasks. 
. thorough understanding of heat transport, thermodynamics, and HVAC fundamentals. 
. outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems. 
. Outstanding communication abilities and fluency in both written and spoken English. Being German is seen as advantageous. 
. a strong commitment to sustainability and a desire to improve the environment. 
It's good to have both solid knowledge of German laws and regulations and experience functioning in the German market.
