Overseeing the installation equipment, procedures, and products for Quatt's line of energy-efficient solutions will be a key responsibility of a Senior Product Installations Engineer. With an emphasis on increasing installation efficiency and developing the tools necessary for smooth operations, this role demands extensive familiarity with heat pumps and HVAC systems. Throughout the product development process, you will guarantee Design for Installation and assume complete responsibility for the Bill of Materials (BOM) for installation and service. This position will also assist with initiatives to expand the business outside of the Netherlands.You will work cross-functionally to improve our product's design and installation procedures by bridging the gap between the operations and product teams. Additionally, you will make sure that our systems are designed for maximum performance and serviceability and push for advancements in installation planning tools.
What you're going to do:
. Oversee the development of installation equipment, supplies, and procedures for Quatt's whole product line, which includes thermostats, chillers, house batteries, and heat pumps.
. During the development stage, assume responsibility for Design for Installation and Design for Serviceability, making sure that new designs facilitate simple, effective installations.
. Take ownership of each product's installation and service BOM, making sure it is accurate and comprehensive.
. Take the lead in defining the instruments, machinery, and procedures required for present and upcoming market expansion.
. Serve as a cross-functional leader by working with the operations and product teams to promote innovation and make ensuring that design decisions are in line with operational effectiveness.
. Assume responsibility for the development, correctness, and upkeep of internal installation guides, making sure they represent the most recent procedures and industry standards.
. Participate in the creation and enhancement of the instruments used for installation planning and execution.
. Give knowledgeable guidance on installation best practices while consistently maximizing efficacy and efficiency.
. Work together with supply chain teams to guarantee that the equipment and materials needed for installations are available.
. Keep abreast of the most recent advancements in heat pump and HVAC technology so that we may apply best practices to our procedures.
What are you going to need?
. mechanical engineering bachelor's or master's degree, or a similar discipline.
. 8 to 10 years of expertise is required, especially in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC and heat pump systems.
. shown ability to lead installation design and procedures in a creative, fast-paced setting.
. strong grasp of the fundamentals of product design, particularly as they relate to serviceability and installation.
. expertise working across product and operations teams as a cross-functional leader.
. basic knowledge of other pertinent engineering tools and CAD software (Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc.).
. Outstanding writing and vocal English communication abilities, along with a problem-solving and team-oriented attitude.
. Proficiency in expanding markets and customizing installation procedures for new areas
