Job Overview

We are a specialist medical recruitment agency focused on placing General Practitioners (GPs) into long-term roles across Australia. We work with a wide range of medical centres and healthcare groups nationwide, meaning there is no single fixed clinic or location. Instead, we recruit for diverse practices with varying needs across metro, regional, and rural Australia.

Our primary focus is on Vocationally Registered (VR) GPs, as well as doctors who are eligible and actively seeking to work in Australia, including those currently practising overseas and open to relocation.

Typical GP Roles We Recruit For

While each placement varies, most roles include:

• General Practitioner positions in medical centres or group practices

• Full-time or part-time opportunities

• Mixed billing or bulk billing clinics (depending on location)

• Positions across metro, regional, and rural Australia

• Long-term placements rather than short-term locum roles

Key Responsibilities

As a GP Recruitment Consultant, your role will involve sourcing and qualifying doctors for Australian GP opportunities. Your responsibilities include:

• Identifying and approaching suitable GP candidates interested in working in Australia

• Engaging with doctors already based in Australia or overseas doctors open to relocating

• Focusing candidate sourcing from the following countries:

  • Australia

  • United Kingdom

  • Ireland

  • United States

  • Canada

  • New Zealand

• Confirming VR status or eligibility to work in Australia

• Introducing candidates to our agency and assessing their interest in Australian GP roles

• Collecting up-to-date CVs and essential candidate details

• Passing qualified candidates to our internal team for full clinic engagement and placement management

Candidate Profile

• Experience in recruitment, healthcare recruitment, or candidate sourcing is preferred

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to assess doctor eligibility and suitability for the Australian healthcare system

• Comfortable working with international candidates and relocation-focused roles

• Willingness to learn and navigate the Australian medical registration landscape
