Position Summary:
As needed, get in touch with the right person or division (such as sales, data administration, or accounting) to address enquiries, concerns, or guest calls. Employ sales strategies, such as upselling, that optimise profits while preserving current guests' loyalty to Marriott. Choose and present complimentary items to visitors as tokens of appreciation for their business (e.g., reward points, show tickets, gift vouchers). Raise brand recognition both inside and outside the company. Handle requests for Marriott Rewards point redemption. Handle any phone, fax, or mail-in reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations. When accepting reservations from guests, enter their Marriott Rewards details into the relevant software. Respond to, log, and handle any requests, queries, or issues from visitors. Assist Sales & Marketing by performing general office tasks like typing, faxing, emailing, and filing.
Serve as a role model, help management train and motivate staff, adhere to all company policies and procedures, make sure that uniforms and personal appearances are clean and professional, protect company assets, maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, express genuine gratitude to guests, communicate with others in a clear and professional manner, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer phones with appropriate etiquette. Build and preserve good working connections with others; assist the team in achieving shared objectives; pay attention to and effectively address other employees' issues. Keep an eye on other people's performance to make sure that standards and expectations for quality are being met. Examine and visually confirm data in a range of formats. Without help, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position items that weigh less than or equal to ten pounds. carry out additional appropriate job responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
