ACTIONS YOU WILL TAKE
. Collaborate closely with the Senior Editor and Managing Editor to guarantee that the editorial team creates accurate, timely, and high-quality material that supports our editorial goal.
. Help determine the editorial direction by making sure the material is interesting, data-driven, and covers new developments in international finance.
. Assist a group of investment journalists with editorial direction and mentoring, making sure that the material satisfies editorial standards and is understandable and educational for readers.
. Examine and revise articles on intricate investing subjects to make sure they are fact-checked, readable, and interesting to a wide range of readers.
. Work together with other divisions, including marketing and design, to increase the reach and interaction of the material.
. Keep up with the most recent advancements in investing and finance, offering strategic perspectives to influence the publication's content.A degree in WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
. journalism, finance, economics, political science, or a similar discipline is required of you.
. Over fifty-three years of editorial experience, ideally in financial or investment journalisma thorough comprehension of international investing trends, encompassing market movements, equities, cryptocurrencies, and economic indicators
. Excellent editorial judgment that may be used to improve material for engagement, accuracy, and clarity
. Outstanding English writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
. Critical thinking abilities and the capacity to generate analytical, data-driven material are desired. Prior experience in a fast-paced journalism setting is also advantageous.
. Excellent organizational abilities, meticulousness, and the capacity to oversee several priorities
