Your everyday responsibilities will be
. Create and manage scalable, high-performing, and reliable software applications with Elixir and associated technologies;
. Work together with cross-functional teams to establish the technical specifications, architecture, and project requirements;
. Write code that is clear, tested, and maintainable; implement new features in accordance with coding standards and best practices;
. Make apps as fast and scalable as possible;
. Establish and manage connections with external APIs and services;
. Investigate and fix problems with the functionality, dependability, and performance of the program;
. Perform code reviews and provide other team members helpful criticism;
. Keep abreast on the most recent advancements and patterns in functional programming and Elixir;
. Take part in the planning and design of new projects and features;
. Assure application security and data protection.
What we anticipate from you
. three or more years of practical expertise using backend technologies, such as Erlang or Elixir;
. familiarity with PostgreSQL, Docker, Protobuf, GraphQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Phoenix LiveView, and others;
. familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3;
. strong comprehension of tests;
. familiarity with data-intensive apps, event-driven structures, and microservices;
. understanding of professional software engineering and best practices across the whole software development life cycle, including source control management, build procedures, testing, operations, and coding standards and code reviews;
ability to fulfill several conflicting goals with minimal oversight;
. exceptional ability to communicate in writing and spoken English;
. readiness to acquire new technology;
. Prior iGaming experience is beneficial.
