By offering a secure and easily available digital infrastructure that everybody in Sweden can rely on and utilize, we at Kivra are constructing services that link over 6 million people. What you will be doing:
An engineering manager who can work both strategically and directly with two of our teams is what we are searching for. While the other promotes "Kivra for Business," which allows companies to receive their mail digitally, the first concentrates on expanding our receipt and provides services.
Leading two small teams of engineers is a part of my job as our new engineering manager. You will oversee, nurture, and mentor the members of your teams to ensure their happiness, motivation, and growth. Both teams operate in an agile setting that adheres to DevOps principles, and you will play a significant role in facilitating technological innovation and scalability.
Our goal is to have 100% availability for our services, which handle massive volumes of people, data, and transactions every day. Our IT stack reflects our belief in doing things in an open, straightforward, and intelligent manner. Erlang and Riak constitute the foundation of our platform and core. Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, GCP, Kafka, Ansible, Elixir, Golang, Github, and more tools are also used by us. As you lead by example and contribute to the team's overall performance, we think you will be actively involved in development, operations, and issues.
We place a high importance on security, dependability, and scalability, all of which are essential to the work you'll be doing and form the basis of our services. You will give technical guidance, support engineering procedures, and make sure that coding standards, reliability, and scalability guidelines are followed. In order to make sure that technological solutions complement business objectives, you will also be forming cross-functional relationships and collaborating closely with our domain architects, product managers, and other engineering managers.
Concerning you:
We think you've managed software engineering teams before and are accustomed to coaching, empowering, and supporting people on a daily basis. With your solid engineering experience, you may help your team with design, implementation, and roadmap tradeoffs. Additionally, you have a great deal of knowledge of Agile/Scrum procedures and how they fit into DevOps.
Additionally, we believe that you:
. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
. Have a relevant degree in computer science or equivalent.
. Have strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach.
. Have passion for continuous learning and development for yourself and your team.
