Regarding the position:
The pricing and billing team's primary duty is to bill SEB's corporate clients for the services they have used. Every month, our solution generates over 200,000 invoices and computes 650 different charge types. It does this by sorting through a large amount of data, some of which contain mistakes. In order to decrease human controls and improve detection speed, your task is to investigate methods for implementing anomaly detection in our incoming data. There are a few trends across the tens of incoming data connections that we have. Hopefully, you will cover the majority of the patterns by going over each one individually. You will have truly benefited our team and SEB if you are successful.
The staff that understands the data and how to become up to speed as a developer at SEB will help you. The Pricing & Billing team includes MSc, Civ Ing, and TeknLic alumni from KTH, UU, and LiTH. The group belongs to the Tribe of Product Lifecycles. Product Lifecycle supports corporate operations that include pricing and billing for services, as well as sales and agreements. The majority of client categories and several of the nations where SEB operates are supported by our solutions. A short distance from the Mall of Scandinavia lies Solna, where the Pricing & Billing staff is based.
We employ a purchased billing system as the core of our solution. It is surrounded by a sizable and expanding collection of apps that the team has created and run. There isn't much legacy code because the majority of these are under three years old and are updated often. Our tech stack and procedures are both fairly agile and current. The essential tech stack consists of C#, Visual Studio, OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes, and more technologies may be required.
At the time of the internship, you must be enrolled in school and have finished at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
To succeed in this position, we think you possess:
familiarity with Microsoft's programming environment and C#
Reading information from relational databases, Kafka, and files
familiarity with data analysis tools such as R, AI, process control charts, and basic statistics
An openness to trying new things and the discernment to seek assistance when you run into difficulties

What we provide:
