The fundamentals of this role: 
For a variety of services pertaining to all of the College's programs and courses, the Student Enrollment Specialist serves as the point of contact for both current and potential students. offers relevant services and information to both present and potential students at every stage of the enrollment and registration process, including financial aid applications, admissions, placement testing, advising, and registration. The primary responsibility of the Enrollment Service Counselor, who follows best practices from national organizations like NACAC and NAFSAA, is to help and record the student's enrollment route by offering a smooth and integrated level of service using the CRM Recruit, BANNER, and other systems. 
What you plan to do: 
. Give parents and current and potential students advice on the admissions, student assistance, and enrollment services procedures. 
. Offer in-take services; answer direct phone and email inquiries from counselors, parents, and individual candidates; and help office visitors. 
. Examine applicants' qualifications to ascertain if they qualify for financial aid, admittance, veteran services, or visa requirements. 
. Make use of the mechanisms to help students move smoothly from admissions to registration.

Help students with the application process, including requirements for transcripts and acceptable documents to prove residency for tuition purposes; add/drop procedures; information about graduation; the financial aid process and requirements, including submitting the FAFSA; verification documents; sources of aid and related responsibilities; acceptance and deferment of aid; and tuition payment. 
Experience, education, and further prerequisites: 
a bachelor's degree or its equivalent and more than three years of full-time, relevant work experience. Or an internal applicant with 2-4 years of experience in higher education working in student affairs or enrollment services, an associate degree or its equivalent, and the aptitude to pick up new skills and perform the duties of the position. 
Within their second year of work, all staff members must get the NASFAA verification certification. Good communication abilities are a must. Pay close attention to details and exhibit proficient computer abilities. 
Preferred Requirements:
