Your future job:
You are working as a Structure Design Engineer (m/f/d) for our customer Airbus Aerostructures at the Finkenwerder site.
Your assignments:
. Design development for metal, composite, and hybrid components and their assemblies
. Creating construction documents in CATIA V5 and CCD that are both functional and production-oriented while adhering to technical standards, rules, and norms
. Construction document review (design check)
. Handling complaints and construction deviations
. Optimization of parts and assemblies in terms of weight, cost, performance, as well as manufacturing and assembly specifications
. Assessing design modifications and calculating the amount of work needed to put them into practice
. adherence to laws, pertinent design concepts, procedures, techniques, and directives
. Verifying the components' and assemblies' quality and airworthiness
. Overseeing operations in collaboration with suppliers and engineering partners
. Cooperation with multidisciplinary groups, encompassing production, configuration, and structural analysis
Your profile:
. Completed studies in automotive engineering, aircraft construction, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
. Several years of professional experience in design engineering, aircraft construction and aerospace
. Good knowledge of Catia V5 and VPM A350
. PASS SSCI advantageous
. Google Workspace is an advantage
. Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
