Job Description: 
Roles & responsibilities: 
Gathering Information: 
Gather the related documents, specifications, plans, and proposals that are needed for estimating. Analyzing needs: 
Carefully review the supplied documentation to determine the labor, material, and time needs. 
Cost Calculation: 
To precisely calculate costs, examine the labor, material, and time requirements. Discrepancy Resolution: Gather and examine further information to address any inconsistencies in the information that has been acquired. 
Presentation: 
Effectively communicate the expected expenses by compiling and presenting both descriptive and numerical data. 
Unique Reports: 
Create unique reports that provide an overview of the data and patterns discovered throughout the estimation process. 
Data management: 
Accurately enter and routinely backup data in order to maintain a cost database. Applicants with prior expertise in construction, engineering, or similar disciplines may be qualified for this position based on their qualifications. It would also be advantageous to have knowledge of industry standards and procedures and experience working on joinery-specific projects. Make sure the applicants you are considering for this job can successfully manage the responsibilities listed above and have a track record of finishing joint estimation projects. 
Desired Candidate Profile: 
A bachelor's degree in engineering, management of joinery, or a similar discipline. Professional certification (such as Certified Cost Professional) in cost estimating or a related subject. Two years minimum of expertise in estimating costs for collaborative projects. Proficiency with cost-estimating software and tools tailored to the industry; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong precision and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate with people in a group environment.
