About Company:
With an emphasis on neurodegeneration and cardiovascular neurology, we carry out a large number of clinical (phases I–IV) and research investigations in our Neurological Study Centre, most of which are multicenter but also self-initiated. Our primary focus in the realm of neurodegeneration is on dementia and mobility impairments. As part of a global registry research on Friedreich's ataxia, we are currently seeking a primary contact for data management and monitoring (UNIFAI). The Friedreich Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) is closely involved.
Research Assistant (f/m/d) for Monitoring and Data Management:
Full, mutually agreed-upon working hours, which are now 38.5 hours per week. It is also feasible to work part-time for at least 50% of the collectively agreed-upon working hours, which is presently 19.25 hours per week.
Time Limit:
Initially project-related and limited to 2 years with option of prolongation.

Your Tasks:
Working closely with FARA, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the UNIFAI study's data:
Monitoring and data quality: administration of research data, evaluation of quality, and validation.
Support for data management and EDC: primary point of contact for study-related data management tasks, such as draughting data management papers and Organising data entry in the digital information capture system (EDC).
Aiding the site teams in various time zones and coordination with foreign partners.
Reporting and data availability. Help create and oversee data access protocols while making sure confidentiality and info sharing regulations are followed. Creation and implementation of dashboards and reports.
Documentation and adherence to rules.
Legacy data migration and code list upkeep are necessary to connect old pseudonyms to recent research.
Coordination and administration of the biobank's biosamples.
Person to contact regarding data exports.
Your Profile:
Completed coursework in neuroscience or related fields, such as biology, psychology, or bioinformatics.
It is preferred to have experience as a clinical monitor and implementing clinical trials in accordance with AMG, MPG, and register/observational studies.
Competent use of computers, tablets, cellphones, and office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as communication apps (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
Excellent proficiency in the English language, both in writing and speaking (Level C1).
Independent working style, teamwork skills, dependability, and effective time management.
