Offer administrative support services to guarantee the Student Affairs Department runs efficiently. Under the direction of the student coordinator, participate in the decision-making process. Manage the department's daily transactions and clerical duties. act as a point of contact for staff employees and the student coordinator. Make appointments and steer them in the direction of the right people. Manage the office filing system efficiently. Help with keeping department records up to date and assembling daily reports. Examine and evaluate all incoming mail and reports, sending pertinent documents as needed. Answer calls, greet guests, and respond to questions by giving them information or pointing them in the direction of the right department staff. Help write memos and letters to be distributed within the department or college. Create agendas for meetings and send them to the appropriate staff members. As needed, make recommendations or give staff and students information. Attend training sessions and meetings as needed. Carry out additional tasks that the manager assigns you. Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Previous experience in student affairs or related roles is preferred. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Having prior experience planning student events is a huge plus.
