About Company:
With 28 offices across the globe, MSF is a stand-alone international medical relief agency. Our medical teams are available to help the impacted community during widespread epidemics, when the places are too risky for many other organisations. Basic medical care is organised, injured patients are treated, immunisation campaigns are conducted, local workers are trained, and medical infrastructure is developed. Our teams combat HIV/AIDS, sleeping sickness, malaria, and tuberculosis in long-term aid projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
An essential component of our immediate medical assistance programs are chemists.
It will be your duty as a chemist to make sure that the appropriate medications and enough medical supplies are constantly on hand.
In the project nations, you will be responsible for ensuring that pharmaceutical recommendations adhere to national requirements.
You will need to arrange distribution among the medical facilities, guarantee storage and transportation within the nation, and order the required medications and other medical supplies from overseas.
Along with keeping an eye on deliveries and stock levels, you will also be responsible for the effective administration of storage facilities.
In addition to creating statistics on pharmaceutical consumption levels and medical product usage, you will be responsible for ensuring that pharmaceuticals are used before they expire.
Along with managing staff, you will also conduct continuing education programs and provide training and direction in the daily management of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
Our Requirements:
A college diploma in pharmaceutics.
two years or more of work experience, with preferably one year spent in a hospital.
expertise in training and teaching.
Frequency of not less than between nine and twelve months.
Excellent computer abilities, particularly in Excel.
Strong proficiency in French and English, with the addition of Arabic, Spanish, or Russian being highly preferred. Proficiency in French will have a big influence on the final selection process and the overall evaluation.
Experience travelling or working in Latin American, Asian, or African nations.
High levels of mental and physical resilience, organisational and improvisational skills, cultural awareness, and teamwork abilities.
