Together, the Payments & Risk team strives to deliver a flawless, safe, and dependable consumer purchasing experience. This motivates us to continuously investigate untapped markets, create, and deploy solutions that improve the functionality and architecture of our payments system.
The expansion of our payment platform has led to criminals adapting. They are cunning and constantly searching for new methods to defraud others. To make sure we fulfill our obligations to consumers, payment processors, and authorities, we continuously search for novel fraud mitigation strategies in an effort to stay one step ahead of them.
Responsibilities:
. Lead the strategy and development of machine learning technologies to improve the capacity for payment processing and fraud detection.
. Oversee the whole process of product development and provide the most valuable solutions.
. Keep an eye on the competitive environment at all times, and use and evaluate data to find new product prospects.
. Oversee the backlog of products, create roadmaps, and coordinate them with all product teams and cross-functional partners.
. Work collaboratively with engineers and data scientists to incorporate ML models into products.
. Oversee and train your product team to support Eneba's expansion.
. Collaborate with the executive team to develop the short- and long-term plan for your team.
. Make sure that the performance of the product and the impact it has had are communicated succinctly and clearly.
. Collaborate with outside parties to evaluate potential collaborations.
Conditions
. more than two years of product management expertise, specializing in machine learning and data products.
. Extremely knowledgeable about machine learning principles and methods, capable of spearheading technical debates and choices.
. strong technical foundation; a degree in data science, computer science, or a similar discipline is ideal.
. knowledge of the risk and/or payment areas.
. open-minded problem-solving abilities and a data-driven decision-making process.
. Outstanding teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management abilities; able to work well with people from different departments and levels, including outside parties.
. expertise in completing a product's whole lifecycle, including discovery, setting priorities, and executing the plan before and after launch.
. familiarity with product toolkits, such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Figma, Mixpanel, Productboard, JIRA, and Miro.
. competent managing changing priorities and working with limited resources, and at ease in a fast-paced startup setting.
