Our projects allow us to test our abilities in complex statistical, algorithmic, and technological problems as well as to gain an inside look at how many different industries operate. Appsilon's tech stack includes R, Shiny, JavaScript, React.js, Python, Docker, Git, AWS, HTML, CSS/Sass, and more. Every few months, we begin new projects and explore new worlds. One day, we learn the secrets of promotions in retail chains; another day, we analyze satellite images; and finally, we get incredibly exciting data from the residential market for analysis.
Your tasks:
Your responsibilities include designing comprehensive R solutions for clients, selecting the best technological solutions for the right problems, exchanging knowledge and fostering innovation, delivering features on schedule or talking about/communicating changes, managing direct client communications, and demonstrating a deep comprehension of clients' issues.
What we expect from you: Advanced R expertise, including advanced mechanisms of Shiny (e.g., bindings, register DataObj, performance, promises, single-threading, etc.) and ability to successfully apply them in reality.
What we expect from you:
. Proven track of producing web apps or websites utilizing R/Shiny and JavaScript.
. writing optimum, high-quality code.
. good troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Shiny's responsiveness.
. expertise in efficiently processing, evaluating, and displaying data collections.
. advanced understanding of Git.
. Excellent SQL expertise.
. familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
. knowledge of JS and the capacity to create applications with striking visuals.
. If you are based in Poland, you have a valid ID; if you are based outside of Poland, you have a valid passport.
. good knowledge of Agile.
. Have experience working in a group setting.
