About Company:
We are currently seeking an R&D Engineer with experience in automation and artificial intelligence for our research and development team at Transformers. You will work with us to create intelligent solutions for the electricity transformers and converter components of the future. The technological contributions you provide to data analysis, picture recognition, automation solutions, research, and improvement coordination within Transformers will be your main focus. Additionally, you will be able to work on cross-competence themes and help create fresh, creative solutions in several fields.
You will be part of a vibrant, driven, and innovative team with a diverse spectrum of expertise and experience. You will join a global community through your research projects, which will help you grow your career as a technical or managerial leader.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility studies, suggest and create new technical ideas, and build and implement innovative solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
Leading the path towards the industry 4.0 revolution by incorporating AI initiatives into our production.
Plan testing and prototyping procedures to verify novel algorithms and technologies.
Offer factories technical assistance in the areas of process improvement, operational excellence, and data analysis at various production stages.
Work together globally with engineers from the different factories, technology managers, and scientists from Hitachi Energy's research teams and technology centres.
Participate actively in enhancing the partnership with academic institutions and research centres
Your Background:
You possess a software engineering degree or its equivalent, as well as previous employment in the data science field.
You've also built new installations from scratch and integrated systems with various pieces of existing technology. A benefit is having prior experience with AI vision systems.
Your analytical abilities are strong, and you're driven to apply fresh, creative ideas to enhance existing ones.
You like working with people to accomplish amazing things, and you certainly a team player.
It would be ideal if you also possess project management experience or the capacity to acquire technical leadership abilities.
You can communicate effectively and speak and write English with ease.
