Job description:
For our customer, we are seeking a Category Manager of Marketing.
Within the organization, Group Indirect Procurement is a relatively new function. The function's goals are to lower supplier risks for indirect products and services across the Group's brands and functions, create cost reductions, and seize procurement synergies.
You will oversee and grow certain expenditure categories in the marketing procurement domain as a Category Manager. Among your responsibilities are category strategy, strategic opportunity evaluation, sourcing and category planning. As you investigate supplier marketplaces and analyze spend and contracts, you will lead fact-based procurement efforts. Additionally, you will put plans into action to guarantee sustained success.
In order to optimize procurement processes and maximize value:
you will be responsible for the following tasks, which will be essential to your role in our organization: identifying opportunities for improvement within your category, conducting spend analysis, and evaluating the development of spend categories; developing and implementing a category plan, including strategic sourcing initiatives; and monitoring and managing supplier relationships, both current and potential, in accordance with business needs.

Furthermore, we observe that you possess:
. extensive background in marketing services sourcing and category management in a big company setting.
. A university degree in management, industrial engineering, business administration, or procurement
. Strong analytical skills, such as doing expenditure analysis and opportunity evaluation, are combined with proficiency in category management, sourcing, and negotiating.
. Knowledge of various contract formats and pricing methods
