Job Overview:
A highly committed Clinical Care Technician is needed for our Post Anaesthesia Care Unit at RWJBarnabas Health's facility in New Brunswick.

Qualifications:
Required:
• A high school diploma or its equivalent, the GED, is necessary.
According to the American Heart Association, Basic Life Support (CPR)

Desired: 
Clinical experience from a recognised nursing program or prior experience as a nursing assistant are desired.
• Preferably, a certified nursing assistant.

Scheduling requirements: 
• 40 hours per week, including every other weekday and holiday, working the evening shift from 3 to 11:30 p.m.

Essential Functions:
• The CCT is a professional patient carer who helps patients with everyday life activities and offers nursing care, such as taking vital signs, performing electrocardiograms, performing phlebotomy, and helping patients with bedside procedures, such as bathing, oral, and skin care.
• Providing patient care that is age-appropriate for the patients in designated service based on physical, educational, and safety criteria
• Using practice, discernment, and decisive action to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Constantly updating patients as well as nursing colleagues on the state of their care; • Collaborating on our patients' care plan from admission to discharge to guarantee a safe transition;
