At the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, the Institute of Computer Science has a vacancy for a Research Assistant (m/f/d), as an academic teacher, to be filled on a permanent basis. 
Your tasks: 
Administrative organization of exercises for the following compulsory courses in computer science. Theoretical computer science. Scientific work and exercises. Holding the above-mentioned courses in rotation with the module coordinators. Updating and further development of the course (in consultation with module coordinators). Developing and teaching your own courses. Participation in the administration of the degree program and its further development. 
Our requirements: 
Completed scientific. University degree (M.Sc. / M.A. / Diploma /Magister) in the field of computer science or mathematics Special pedagogical knowledge and experience, proven by extensive teaching experience sound knowledge of theoretical computer science and other mathematical foundations of computer science; proven by independent participation in corresponding courses or relevant research activities willingness to participate in regular further training in didactics and university didactics and to participate in the administration of the degree program Extensive teaching experience Experience in the creation of exercise and teaching content Experience in the coordination of teaching assistants sound theoretical and practical experience of teaching courses sound knowledge of software engineering and programming languages, in particular formal methods, model checking and logic, is desirable We are looking for a person who will support us with extraordinary commitment in the implementation of a redesign of the Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science within the framework of 12 semester hours per week teaching obligation.

An independent position with creative freedom in Düsseldorf in a permanent employment relationship Integration into the Chair of Software Engineering and Programming Languages Depending on the personal requirements, the position will be graded up to pay group 13 TV-L. Part-time employment is also an option, unless there are compelling official reasons to the contrary in individual situations.
