About the role:
We are seeking a (Senior) Manager Portfolio Strategy (all genders) to lead market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor movements, providing insights that drive portfolio growth and profitability. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams in the DACH region and serve as a liaison with global teams, ensuring smooth communication. Among your duties and obligations will be:
. Portfolio strategy development and implementation: You are in charge of coordinating the DACH region's local product portfolio with global business objectives and strategies while taking local consumer demands and market trends into account.
. Market analysis and competition monitoring: You examine consumer preferences, market trends, and competitor data to produce insights that support the ongoing expansion of the current and upcoming portfolio.
. Portfolio optimization is the process of finding areas for expansion within the current portfolio and putting plans in place to raise performance and profitability.
. Liaison with Global Teams: You are responsible for ensuring that global needs are successfully translated to the local market by serving as a liaison to the central product, content, and licensing teams.
. Close Collaboration with DACH Teams: To support Go-To-Market and make sure the portfolio is in line with strategic goals, you collaborate cross-functionally with the DACH region's marketing, sales, and finance teams.
What we are looking for: a degree in business administration, marketing, product management, or a similar field; a passion for creating portfolio strategies in the consumer goods or entertainment industry; five or more years of experience in a role similar to this; demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking; strong analytical skills to interpret complex market and business data and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations; experience leading and executing cross-functional projects in dynamic environments; proficiency with common planogram tools; excellent communication and collaboration abilities, effectively partnering with diverse stakeholders and fostering teamwork; fluent in both German and English, with strong verbal and written abilities
