What does the job of an elderly educator at Norlandia involve? 
As an elderly educator (with nursing education as a base), you are a valuable key player who contributes to our residents having a safe and meaningful existence in old age. We always start with the resident's will and ability and look at their health. You are innovative and creative in your way of working. We prefer that you have an interest in technology and that welfare technology is not alien to you.

An occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a specialist nurse and a dietician.
You work to prevent loneliness, create opportunities for community and socializing, and support and inspire nutritious and pleasant meals. A very exciting job indeed! 
Work tasks:
Plan, implement and follow up on daily activities both indoors and outdoors, individually and in groups, with the aim of preserving the individual's abilities, resources and interests. Plan, lead and follow up on activities together with activity representatives. Work in a person-centered way. Contact relatives and participate in family meetings. Documentation, according to the Social Services Act, is within your area of responsibility. Work based on Norlandia's concept Tasty meal, your day and welcome home. We work to ensure that our residents appreciate the food and that the meal experience adds a golden edge to everyday life. Collaborate with various organizations, such as preschools, the church, young care, etc. Actively participate in the organization's quality and improvement work.

Who are we looking for? 
We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like you to enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. And that you are easy to cooperate with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. You have nursing training (or equivalent training) of at least 1350 points. Supplementary training as a teacher of the elderly. It is a strong advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care. It is necessary to have a solid command of both spoken and written Swedish. We would like you to have good computer skills and experience in documentation.
