Our team:

 We are rheumatology - we are characterized by our close cooperation and cohesion as a team, we like to try out new ways and are currently preparing two indication extensions for launch. We are looking for someone who loves customer contact, takes great pleasure in scientific exchange and enjoys cross-functional work.

 Main tasks: 

The Medical Science Liaison will lead the implementation of the medical strategy in relation to the top 20 national KOLs in the three indication areas of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pJIA) and will report directly to the Medical Unit Head Rheumatology. The function decides independently on the tactics and is responsible for leading the cross-functional project teams to execute the chosen tactics. Independent derivation of individual, customer-oriented concepts from the medical strategy to improve patient care with external experts and management of cross-functional project teams for implementation in accordance with international, national and internal company guidelines Independent design and autonomous coordination of medical-scientific activities at national level. Involvement of national and international top experts in strategic advisory committees and medical training concepts. Regular visits and support for project managers and selected opinion leaders, including scientific exchange at the highest level and independent development of opinion leader programs and concepts. Close cooperation and regular information of the rheumatology team on current developments in the specialist field, with opinion leaders and specialist societies. In coordination with the Medical Management Team, medical-scientific input at all important regional, national and international congresses and events, including speaking at congresses or public affairs events in front of political decision-makers. Representation of the Medical Unit in the Market Access AMNOG procedure, in HTA dossier preparation and representation at hearings of state bodies in the benefit assessment procedure.

 Education and professional experience:

 Degree in natural sciences / medicine or comparable training; doctorate desirable Several years of experience in medical project planning and management Good to very good knowledge in the use of WORD, EXCEL and POWER POINT In-depth knowledge of the indication area of rheumatology Many years of experience as a scientific speaker at continuing medical education events and training courses; ideally familiar with various digital communication channels Ability to meet respected experts at eye level and to engage in a privileged collaboration with Sanofi and to use their expertise to develop best-in-class strategies At least 5 years of professional experience in an MSL organization or equivalent expertise.
