 We are seeking a team manager for the Engineering Digital Product Area:

We must integrate people, processes, data, and technology more closely if we are to grow IKEA into an even more accessible, economical, and sustainable home furnishings company in an omnichannel setting.

We are searching for someone who is excited about meeting genuine requirements in people's homes and who is passionate about home furnishings and the industry we work in. 
You will play a significant role in our journey as we dare to be IKEA, optimise for relevance, and provide the greatest items at the most competitive prices. We are currently seeking an engineering team manager for the Digital Product Area. In your capacity as a team manager, you will collaborate with the manager of the digital product area to oversee the creation and execution of digital products for product area engineering. 
This will enable horizontal movements throughout IKEA and guarantee that the digital product area as a whole has pertinent and easy-to-use digital products. 
You share responsibility for building a strong foundation of competencies required to advance our digital capabilities and meet present and future business demands. Together with the digital product area manager, you will lead, coach, and develop functional specialists and digital product leaders. 
You will also make sure that a supportive and growing culture is maintained. Working closely with the Capability Manager and the Digital Area Manager, you will be accountable to the Digital Product Area Manager. Qualification: 
For the position of engineering team manager for the Digital Product Area, you have: deep familiarity with the market and/or industry within the designated field of digital products strong background in overseeing the design of mostly digital goods and a successful track record in developing influential digital solutions. knowledgeable about the concepts and practices of agile development, including data-driven decision making, digital product strategy, UX, and digital product visions. extensive background in product development, from ideation to effective implementation. strong communication skills and the capacity to serve as a liaison between various business and digital competences. strong capacity to visualise ideas and concepts in order to foster consensus and comprehension of the best course of action. Capacity to inspire, mentor, empower, and lead teams of digital product owners so they can maximise the intended results. The capacity to establish trusting relationships with stakeholders and peers, feel at ease in challenging situations involving prioritisation, and demonstrate cross-functional leadership.

This is an ongoing position located in Älmhult.
