Job Summary: 
The company Curb-tender makes garbage collecting vehicles. The Assistant Production Supervisor will assist in managing and supervising the production workers in the truck chassis integration, assembly area, paint booth, machine shop, and welding line. The assistant supervisor will make sure that team members follow the quality and safety requirements. 
Accountabilities: Assure staff members abide by relevant safety laws, guidelines, and protocols. Establish objectives and standards to be applied during production in coordination with the plant manager. Make sure the daily tasks and workflow of the production team are finished. Ascertain that team members are correctly recording their time and attaching parts to work orders. Troubleshoot any issues arising with production. Report issues with the equipment to the maintenance department. Assign tasks to production staff and oversee their training. Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. Coordinate with human resources to respond to employee concerns or complaints. Ensure paperwork is completed and signed correctly. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: 
It is necessary to have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Relevant job experience is necessary. It would be ideal if the candidate had:
(1) experience with commercial diesel truck chassis.
(2) CNC machining centers.
(3) experience with paint and autobody.
(4) overall factory management. 
Physical Requirements: 
The ability to walk about all day is required. The ability to lift 25 pounds at a time is required.
