Job Summary
We are looking to add a committed and skilled clinical pharmacist to our team of healthcare professionals. As a clinical pharmacist, you will be vital to maintaining the proper and safe administration of pharmaceuticals, offering patients and medical professionals professional counsel and direction, and improving the general health and wellbeing of our community.
As per the priorities established by the Clinic Management and the Post Holder, you will make sure that the Pharmacy and Clinic receive comprehensive pharmaceutical services that are safe, high-quality, and cover clinical, supply, financial, and operational aspects. In keeping with the company's goals, which involve combining a digital platform with a clinical practice, you will serve as an example.
In close collaboration with medical experts, you will determine which drugs are most appropriate for treating a patient's symptoms. This is a position that involves a great deal of medical and pharmaceutical expertise, particularly with regard to diabetes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establish Clinical Criteria: You will work together to develop clinical criteria for medications, both new and old. This task entails conducting in-depth scholarly study on pharmaceuticals. Participate in the formulation and execution of policies and procedures pertaining to the administration and utilization of medications. aids in the pharmacy and clinic's resolution of the medication safety issue. Assist in making sure that, when appropriate, the root cause analysis of drug errors is conducted and documented along with clinical risk.
Examine the medical histories of your patients. Based on this evaluation of the patient's medical background and profile, you will decide which medications to recommend. They are able to forecast which medications have the most potential for serious side effects based on this information. Reduce patient risk by having nurses and professionals properly supervised
Report adverse drug events: You are in charge of informing patients of any side effects that could seriously jeopardize their health. This entails documenting these instances with great care. Reporting suspected drug misuse situations is another duty that comes with this role.
Prescribe drugs: Clinical pharmacists conduct research and lab analysis to provide them with sufficient knowledge to select the most appropriate medications for treating a patient's system.
