What you can expect:
You will represent specific subjects in the Media Design department such as Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Design and Ergonomics of User Interfaces, Digital Composition, Design Basics and Typography: Applying Type and Discovering Type (you can find more insights in the module handbook). You will support our students in all matters relating to the courses and prepare them for their professional careers. You will confidently lead practical courses and tutorials and design them using high-quality learning materials, which we will make available to you. You will also be responsible for creating and correcting examinations as well as designing and evaluating teaching media (e.g. scripts, videos). Your expertise will be required to help design didactic projects and further develop the department.
What you bring with you?
Relevant academic profile in the field of media design with a focus on digital design, user interface design, web design, mobile media design and at least a Bachelor's degree Real-world professional expertise in the field of instruction It would be ideal to have prior experience in academic teaching (as a research assistant, instructor, lecturer, or tutor). fervent desire for cutting-edge, computerised, and contemporary education Enjoy working with students and enjoy adult education German language skills at least at level C1 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
