RESPONSIBILITIES: 
For a permanent position in Abu Dhabi, Westlakes Recruit is presently hiring a Cyber Security Engineer with experience in the nuclear industry or another highly regulated field. 
Workplace Duties: 
The Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Cyber Security Engineer will work at nuclear power plants all over the world, supporting the assessment and deployment of network architecture and cyber security services and solutions. The candidate should have a thorough background and experience in information assurance/cyber security application to ICS, technical security audit, and general information technology & networking. A strong technical advisor and leader in the field of cyber security, together with extensive knowledge of many specializations within the cyber security discipline and industrial control systems architecture, would be required of an excellent applicant for this role. As the network architecture/cyber security engineer, you will support the activities of the project team both on-site at the nuclear power generation sites and in the office. Perform product configuration, integration testing, somewhat sophisticated network architecture and cyber security analysis, and troubleshoot challenging issues. Make asset lists with information on firmware and software to assist with cyber security assessments. For multiple ongoing projects, provide network and system specification documentation deliverables to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities and the security controls necessary to mitigate the vulnerabilities to an acceptable level of risk. Author technical documentation including product configuration/implementation guides, requirements traceability, test plans, test procedures, test reports, and user administration guides Engage in information sharing activities with both internal and external clients, such as providing presentation materials, technical assistance, and knowledge transfer. When placing a bid on a new project, locate and support the creation of new business prospects, providing feedback for project proposals and related technical descriptions. Analyze the policy of the cyber security program and assist in developing procedures. Manage virtual environments, networks, and systems (have setup and support experience with Windows Server and client system administration). Engage in master planning activities for control systems that are centered on the security of Ovation control systems, utilizing host-based security solutions from a centralized server and configuring system components in a secure (hardened) manner. Application of Network security including firewalls, data diodes, security information & event management, network intrusion detection. Education: Technical a bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences and technology, cyber security, information assurance, electrical or computer engineering, or a related field Experience and prerequisites: A minimum of two (ideally four to eight) years of professional experience in the fields of engineering, administration, and IT/OT security. Proficiency in conducting security audits and assessments or requirements management practical experience using industrial operational technologies understanding of engineering concepts and methods Expertise in network architecture, Windows Domain setup, security, and group policy configuration; familiarity with security control frameworks such as ISO 27002, NIST 800-53, 20 Critical Controls, and NEI 08-09 Extensive background in debugging system integration problems and utilizing virtualization, network, and cyber security technologies to build all-encompassing solutions Possessing knowledge of industrial control systems or industrial settings is advantageous.
