Airfield lighting structures, exterior light systems, interior illumination and electrical systems, and related equipment are all maintained, repaired, installed, and operated by the Power Production Supervisor, who also serves as the primary supervisor for water transmission systems as a whole aircraft arresting systems, low and high voltage power transmission systems, and devices. Principal Accountabilities:
• When necessary, conducts CSC inspections on containers.
Conduct quality checks prior to, during, and following maintenance.
• As needed, complete high-quality documents.
• Give subordinates tasks to complete.
• Finishes the necessary quality checks, maintenance logs, and paperwork.
• Offers OJT, training, and technical support. records the OJT and training.
The WRM program's electrical wiring producing machinery, water distribution systems, overflow illumination air compressors, aircraft apprehending systems, low and high electricity power distribution systems, gadgets, airfield lighting systems, outdoors light systems, interior lighting, and electrical systems are all operated, maintained, inspected, tested, repaired, reconstitution, and stored under supervision.
• Analyses malfunctions by interpreting maintenance malfunction data, schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprints.
• To run, maintain, inspect, test, repair, and reconstitute WRM assets, use a variety of test equipment, load banks, and other diagnostic tools as needed by technical data.
• Prepares WRM assets and equipment for road, sea, and air haul shipments in compliance with Unit Type Code (UTC) Setting up listings, regulations, checklists, and technical orders.
• Compiles and finishes the necessary paperwork, such as DoD, USAF Supply/Maintenance, Amentum, and related forms. In addition, historical records are updated.
• Uses material handling machinery as needed.
• Examines hazardous materials in the designated work area and, if necessary, works with the relevant office to dispose of them.
• Completes additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by USAF or Amentum.
• When asked to complete a certain work or project, they might be asked to help in other departments.
• As instructed by the superintendent, carries out further specialised or unskilled tasks.
• As necessary by USAF/Amentum tasking, executes Temporary Duty (TDY) in the Zone of Operations.
• Adheres to Amentum/USAF requirements for quality, safety, and hazardous materials.
• Reports any inadequacies and makes sure that all provided tools, PPE, and gear are safe, secure, and in good working order.
• Oversees the installation, maintenance, and utilisation of WRM power generating and related machinery to facilitate practical drills and emergencies.
• Completes additional tasks as given.
• Operates in a typical office, repair shop, or warehouse setting; prolonged outdoor labour may be necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
• Excellent organisational and customer service abilities are required, as well as excellent proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Must be skilled with Microsoft Office, including at least Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the Windows operating system and personal computers.
• It is necessary to have knowledge of quality assurance, supervision methods, and maintenance systems, whether they are military or civilian.
• The ability to oversee employees directly and arrange their workload is necessary.
Electrical generating equipment, distribution of water systems, flood lights, air conditioning units, aeroplanes arresting systems, low and high voltage power distribution devices, systems, airfield illumination systems, externally light infrastructure, interior illumination, and electrical components associated with the WRM The program was or similar Department of Defence Agencies Contingency Systems require the ability to understand electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical data for maintenance, inspection, testing, repair, reconstitution, and storage. Additionally, the ability to obtain CSC Certification is required.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license from the host country and have a valid driver's license from their home country.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have five years of armed forces or civilian experience operating and maintaining power generation.
• May be subjected to excessive noise from operating equipment.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with established protocols
• Able to carry out all necessary tasks physically able to lift, push, and pull at least fifty pounds able to operate heavy lifting and work handling equipment and able to travel both domestically and abroad.
Preferred Qualifications:
• High voltage power generation equipment (5000 volts or higher) preferred, but not required.
• 2 years of experience in a supervisory position preferred.
