We are actively hiring a Finance Manager possessing strong finance and manufacturing skills such as budgeting, reporting and forecasting along with an experience in UAE VAT reporting or Corporate Tax. Being the second in command in finance, you will be joining an established finance team as part of a larger holding company with offices located in Al Ain. Description:
Supervise the creation and execution of the manufacturing budget, encompassing the projection of earnings, costs, and liquidity. To find and fix variations in financial performance, do variance analysis. Oversee the production process's whole manufacturing cost optimisation. This could entail negotiating with vendors, putting cost-cutting measures into place, and figuring out where efficiency can be increased. Make ensuring that financial statements (cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss) are accurate and timely in accordance with IFRS standards. Create strong financial models and business cases in collaboration with the commercial department in order to submit bids and proposals. Establish and preserve connections with important players in government and banking organisations. Oversee all aspects of cash management, such as account financing and cash concentration. Make sure there is enough liquidity to meet working capital requirements. Invest any short-term excess cash. Oversee the planning, carrying out, and reporting. This could include risk evaluations, return on investment (ROI) computations, and capital expenditure analysis. Manage inventory levels, payables, and receivables to optimise working capital through the implementation of initiatives. Make sure there is enough cash to sustain continuing production. Collaborate with upper management throughout the manufacturing group to offer financial analysis and suggestions that bolster strategic choices and corporate expansion goals. Lead a group and take a hands-on approach to helping members of the team grow.
Profile:
A CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification is required; at this point, no additional qualifications would be taken into consideration.8 years or more of experience in the financial function, with at least 4 years of recent, relevant experience in the industrial sectorpractical knowledge of ERP platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, and Oracle. A benefit is SAP 4HANA.strong familiarity with IFRS reporting guidelinesPractical knowledge of VAT and/or corporation tax, or appropriate exposure to these topics; strong understanding of end-to-end budgeting and forecasting proceduresA BIG4 backdrop is very sought after.It is essential to have shown leadership or people management expertise.a readiness to move to Al Ain.
