Please read our code of conduct before applying. Every few months, we begin brand-new projects and explore entirely new worlds. For example, one day we learn the ins and outs of retail chain promotions, the next day we analyze satellite images, and the next day we receive extremely intriguing data from the residential market for analysis. Our projects not only give us the chance to test our abilities in challenging statistical, algorithmic, and technological problems, but they also give us a firsthand look at how many different industries operate.
We are growing quickly and that’s why we are currently seeking for a new R/Shiny Developer to join our team.
Your tasks:
. Building sophisticated Shiny apps, particularly for big clients; 
. comprehending R and Shiny limitations and suggesting solutions; 
. being familiar with advanced Shiny mechanisms (such as bindings, register DataObj, performance, promises, single-threading, etc.) and knowing how to use them in practice; 
. scaling Shiny to thousands of concurrent users; 
. helping to optimize performance at various levels (frontend, backend, infrastructure); 
. being aware of how Shiny uses WebSockets; and putting beautiful apps into use without the assistance of a graphic designer
. adding more sophisticated features to Shiny projects, such leveraging Web Components, JS events in Shiny, JS-Shiny communication, and custom bindings.
. using a well-balanced test pyramid to deliver solutions that are renowned for their excellent quality.
What we anticipate from you:
. Proficiency in developing websites or web apps with R/Shiny, JavaScript, or Python
. Implementing aesthetically pleasing applications using the UX/UI Designer's input
. knowledge on how to improve your code structure naturally using unit testing. automates additional tests, such performance or end-to-end tests.
. Proficiency in both written and spoken English
. If you are based in Poland, you have a valid ID; if you are based outside of Poland, you have a valid passport.
. EMEA or Latin America must be the location.
