Position Title:
Principal Cyber Security:
We seek an experienced CyberSecurity Principal with a strong background in Engineering, DevOps and Infrastructure to build and oversee our Cyber Security operations and governance standards. This new position will be in charge of data protection, cloud infrastructure security, AWS applications, and corporate IT infrastructure security. The ideal applicant will have experience setting up Cyber Security Operation Centres, Cyber Security Procedures, and Incident Response Plans in addition to demonstrating proficiency with AWS technologies. This position is initially for a lone contributor who will establish PropertyFinder's Cyber Security practice and expand it to oversee best practices for infrastructure and code as well as to communicate with auditors. This position will serve as a liaison on all matters pertaining to cyber security as well as DevOps, engineering, and corporate IT. You will deliver in-depth reports and regular presentations to the engineering leadership team and the C-level.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Management:
oversee the creation and application of infrastructure security and security protocols. Keep an eye out for any incidents linked to cyber security in all cloud and corporate IT systems. Implement best practices for data protection, identity management, and application security throughout our developer platforms and marketplace product line. Uphold all technological and security instruments across the environment. Keep track of and document adherence to internal and external cyber policies and posture. Assure adherence to cybersecurity laws and industry standards. Create plans for incident response, data security, and risk management. Keep up with new developments in security dangers and take preventative action.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Certification in information security (CISSP, CSSLP, CCFP, CISM, etc.) or comparable work experience Demonstrate experience managing Cyber Security Initiatives with deep hands-on technical expertise Professional experience in effective cybersecurity management, including + incident management and evidence gathering, + change management and participating in Change and Emergency Change Boards + conducting risk analysis/assessments, + undertaking cyber security reviews + developing and communicating policy changes + providing guidance and advice to end users
