What actions will you take?
• Put Azure Security Solutions into practice while following the guidelines of the Azure Well Architected architecture.
• Offer L3 support for network security tools and systems in the cloud and on-premises, including firewalls, WAF, LTM, Bot Protection, IPS/IDS, privileged access control systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Offer L3 support for cloud-native resources such as routing, express routes, load balancing, private endpoints, and VNET peering.
• Immediately handle escalations with support vendors.
• As per established standards and norms, implement and manage network infrastructure in cloud and hybrid environments.
Automate procedures and controls with infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code to deliver better metrics and operational support.
• Use cloud-native tools, such as load balancers, application gateways, front doors, DDOS protection, network watchers, express routes, log analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center, among other toolkits, to manage operational tasks in a cloud-centric environment.
• Verify that locations and apps are integrated and follow established standards and guidelines for cloud connectivity architecture and design.
• Help the application and infrastructure teams in setting up cloud infrastructure landing zones.
Proficiency:
Essential Competencies for Success
• Acquainted with SDWAN technologies, switches, and router management within the Network Domain.
• Thorough knowledge of enterprise networking, including load balancing, DNS, DHCP, Azure Firewall, IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, and routing.
•a track record of automating the creation of testing, staging, and production environments using orchestration tools, scripting and automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD ideas.
• Excellent knowledge of Azure's cloud features and services.
• Being introduced to the ideas, products, and services of artificial intelligence, especially as it relates to cloud computing, with a focus on cloud security optimization.
What prepares you for the position
• A computer science degree or diploma, or a similar qualification.
•three years minimum of expertise developing and managing secure Azure systems.
• At least seven years of expertise in the network security domain, including administering IPS, WAF, privileged access management systems, firewalls, and identity and access management
• Certifications in Cloud Administration, Architecture, Security, and Governance with a focus on Azure • Experience with both cloud-based and off-cloud security
