About 18,000 inpatients and 60,000 outpatients are treated by medical technologists (m/f/d) for analysis at the laboratory of Evangelische Kliniken Gelsenkirchen GmbH each year. It belongs to the social welfare group Diakoniewerk, which has facilities in Wattenscheid and Gelsenkirchen. We offer patients individualized, professional, and Christian-based nursing and therapy, according to our mission statement. There are a total of 445 beds accessible across all therapy modalities, split between 20 wards and 15 clinics. We would like to expand our laboratory team with a part-time medical technologist as soon as it is practical. Laboratory / EVK needs a medical technician (m/f/d) for analytical lab work.
Your tasks:
Independent performance of all laboratory procedures, including coagulation, clinical chemistry, point-of-care diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology Receiving and sending samples The participation of quality control in shift work in the workplace.
Your profile:
successfully completed the medical technologist training program for laboratory analysis (m/f/d). Professional experience is a plus. a diligent, independent, and cooperative person who is flexible enough to adjust to changing needs and has a great sense of organization in their work and communication. acquaintance with common laboratory equipment. outstanding general and lab-specific IT skills.
