About the Role:
As the Director of the AI Centre of Excellence, you will be essential in determining the direction of Essity's AI strategy.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
What You Will Do:
Work together with cross-functional teams to promote the use of AI.
Direct Essity's AI development and make sure it complies with ethics.
Encourage your team to be innovative and to keep learning new things.
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and put into action a strategy plan for all organization-wide AI projects. Find applications for AI, then coordinate them with our overarching plan.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with the business, IT, analytics, data science, and Essity AI Council teams. Encourage the deployment of AI, facilitate communication, and settle disputes.
Knowledge Sharing:
Make the AI Centre of Excellence the central location for industry best practices.
To encourage learning, plan workshops, training sessions, and outside events.
Governance and Compliance:
Make that AI projects abide by ethical norms, legal requirements, and other legislation. conform to our values and principles as a guide for moral behaviour.
Innovation and Research:
Keep abreast of advancements in AI and investigate novel prospects.
Interact with influential people and trade journals.
Team Management:
Take charge of a group of four subordinates.
Encourage an innovative atmosphere and supply the tools required.
Performance Metrics:
Decide on important metrics to assess the AI Center's performance.
Report on a regular basis to stakeholders and senior management.
Outside of AI, strategic activities:
Engage in leadership activities related to business technology and IT strategy.
