Volvo Financial Services' Global Headquarters is looking for an IT Assurance Manager to oversee the team's mitigation of IT-related business risks and lead the examination and evaluation of IT systems and applications that support business operations.
Creating and implementing plans to guarantee a strong and long-lasting IT control environment is your main duty as an IT Assurance Manager. As a crucial component of the governance, information systems, and IT framework, this position entails doing control reviews. Leading an extensive IT review and testing program, helping to create the Annual Plan, and providing independent consulting services to the company are some of the major responsibilities. 
Your first step will be to assume responsibility in the following areas alongside your coworkers at VFS and within the extensive cross-functional network at the Volvo Group: 
• Support implementation in accordance with the Volvo Group Internal Control Standard-IT by framing the IT Risk and Control in the Internal Control Framework.
• Examine and update the IT controls on a regular basis to ensure they are suitable, effective, and pertinent to the Volvo Group's policies and IT directives.
• To make sure that the entire implementation of IT control and setup is solid, efficient, and in line with the Volvo Group directives and international best practices, plan and carry out independent IT control evaluations based on risk and prioritizing for the chosen markets and/or IT applications.
• Ensure that there is sufficient visibility, transparency, and accountability for controls by providing regular reports on major risks in IT systems to the different VFS leadership teams.
Based on the results of audits and risk assessments, suggest enhancements to fortify the overall control environment; collaborate closely with local markets to monitor IT control shortcomings and remediation progress; and train and advise the business risk assurance team to ensure that IT control standards and requirements are understood.
• Work closely with solution managers, VFS D&IT leaders, and others to make sure that VFS IT control procedures and activities are in line with the Group Standard.
• Establish communication with Corporate Audit, the Volvo Group IT Cybersecurity team, and outside auditors to clarify and bolster the audit's conclusions.

The following credentials are probably necessary to succeed in this position: 
• a degree in information systems, computer science, or a similar field; an MBA or master's degree is desirable; A benefit would be an IT control certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM.
• At least five years of leadership experience in risk, compliance, IT audit, internal control, or related positions
• A thorough awareness of IT systems, procedures, and new technologies, such as basic computer controls, cybersecurity, cloud computing, privacy, and mobile computing; • A strong analytical grasp of data and database structures 
• Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities, especially the capacity to condense technical difficulties and information in presentations or memoranda for upper management
• The ability to solve problems creatively, analytically, and practically; the capacity to multitask and operate under pressure; Results-driven, self-driven, meticulous, and capable of managing projects both individually and collaboratively collaborates throughout the company to accomplish common goals. Collaborate with others to complete tasks. acknowledges the work of others. acquires other people's confidence and support
• Courage and ability to defend results and opinion • Analytical skills, attention to detail and focus on quality • High integrity and strong ethics
• An enthusiastic and driven attitude • Excellence in reading, writing, and speaking English; other languages a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office at the expert level.
