The Information Technology School:
The present role is in the School of Information Technology (ITE), one of four interdisciplinary schools of Halmstad University.  With about 130 workers from 20 different nations, ITE is a multicultural school.  The atmosphere for research and education is robust. with an emphasis on intelligent technology and its uses.  AI, information-driven care, driverless cars, social robots, and digital design are just a few of the topics that students and researchers are working on.  ITE provides professional education as well as education at all levels, from undergraduate to PhD.  Research is carried out in the areas of digital service innovation, cyberphysical systems, smart electronic systems, and aware intelligent systems.  These four domains make up ITE's four technology domains.  ITE is linked to the Electronics Centre in Halmstad (ECH), a collaborative arena for electronic development, and Leap for Life, an innovation center for information-driven care.

An explanation:
In addition to requiring a wide range of abilities relating to software development, machine learning, and programming, this 11-month temporary post goes above and beyond the standard requirements of such positions by requiring research experience in machine learning.  Thus, we require someone who is innovative, receptive to new challenges, and driven to provide excellent results.  The primary purpose of the work is to be applied to automotive applications.Data mining, context-aware systems, knowledge-based intelligent systems, representation learning, meta-learning, transfer learning, multi-tasking, self-supervised and weakly-supervised learning, federated learning, anomaly detection, synthetic data generation, graph neural networks, evaluation, and many other cutting-edge AI/ML topics are among the many areas in which the research engineer is expected to assist researchers and research. M.S. degree in computer science, machine learning, or a similar field, or its equivalent.
It is preferable to have a solid foundation in data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or signal processing.
Strong analytical problem-solving, programming, and organizing skills are necessary.
