Cooperative Computing is looking for a “CX Designer” who will be responsible for managing fun but challenging projects across the project team. You will play a key role in shaping transformational visions and digital concepts that strategically accelerate our client’s business. Working across physical and digital practices, this role gives visual form to market-leading points of view around next-generation engagement. The ideal candidate is a technology optimist and designer who believes in exploring new visual languages and storytelling methods for an experience-led world.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and visual designers to develop design systems and ensure integrity in final outcomes.
- Deliver and maintain a consistent design system for all user journeys and visual spec guidelines.
- Develop conceptual treatments and detailed designs for digital visual identity systems, websites, landing pages, digital platforms, apps, and other digital content.
- Experience in designing User Interfaces and Experience with responsive web applications across various hardware platforms including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. With knowledge of design colours, icons and typography, etc.
- Have the ability to create wireframes, user flows, visual design assets, and interactive prototypes/high-fidelity mockups.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Supervise juniors and other team projects.
- Experience creating and manipulating custom images, prototyping concepts, and creating layouts using Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Web design and graphics-related tools.
- Write documentation and guidance on how and why components, styles, and patterns are applied in code and design.
- Create wireframes and prototypes focused on solving various business problems.
- Work with a matrixed and collaborative team, balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills.
- Own communication and negotiation of critical path and scope with team members, partnering with stakeholders to ensure shared understanding.
- Lead a project or group of projects with limited hand-holding and guidance.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of a comprehensive visual framework to establish consistent aesthetics.
- Possess the ability to conceptualize and communicate design ideas to customers, Sales staff, team leaders, and others.
- Marketing Experience is a big plus
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience working at creative agencies or similar background
- Proficiency in a wide range of design platforms across static and motion graphics
- Prior experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Proficient in using Figma/ Sketch/Miro
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite or similar programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, etc.).
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong conversational English skills
- The aptitude and interest to embrace complex business challenges and translate them into elegant creative solutions, moving beyond product design or ecosystems and into designing intelligently orchestrated experiences
- Strong time-management skills and a self-starter attitude.
- Knowledge of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript is a plus.
- An eye for crafting new experience paradigms and creating experience frameworks for emerging technologies.
- Experience working in an agile development process.
- Experience with both commercial and delivery roles across the digital landscape with an
- emphasis on concepting / ideation and vision work.
- Should be able to communicate directly with clients as well as stack holders.
