Description:
Under the banner of Pharmacology and Pharmacies, Uppsala University Hospital has begun administering the majority of its hospital pharmacy services externally since February 1, 2019.
The department is divided into the units Pharmaceutical Preparation, Pharmaceutical Supply, Department Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy.
Within the Pharmaceutical Supply unit, about 15 employees work with the supply of medicines to the Academic Hospital and Lasarettet i Enköping.
Our mission is to work with pharmaceutical procurement, statistics and investigations when drugs are back-ordered.
The pharmaceutical supply is also responsible for the stock of infusion fluids and flushing fluids for the hospitals and the fluid service for the wards.
In Enköping, we are responsible for the entire supply of medicines and manage both the drug service and the fluid service.
Within the SELK (Safe and Efficient Drug Chain) project, the Pharmaceutical Supply Department is responsible for the implementation of drug dispensers on the ward and future new solutions such as dose dispensing to inpatient care and increased own central warehouse.
Our unit is facing a major change and our team needs to be strengthened with a pharmacist.
We are looking for an experienced pharmacist who has a background in working with the supply of medicines to hospitals and the use of medicines on the ward.
 Your mission:
You will work in several areas of our mission but with a focus on drug availability.

You will collaborate with other functions within the Region, such as the Region's pharmaceutical team and EPR (electronic patient record), as well as with colleagues within your own unit and department.
Your qualifications:
If you are a licenced pharmacist or pharmacist, that is who we are searching for.
An advantage is having experience in drug procurement, healthcare assortment work, and working as a chemist in a hospital pharmacy or care department.
Proficiency in Excel is a prerequisite. You have good speech and writing skills in Swedish.
Your skills:
You are receptive and have good interpersonal skills.
You assume accountability for your work and move your procedures along in an organised manner.
You understand complex topics and are able to evaluate and make decisions in these kinds of circumstances. We shall give personal suitability a lot of weight.
