job description COMPETENCES AND LABOR AUTHORITIES:

Prepares medicines by reviewing and interpreting medical orders; Assemble and dispense medicines as prescribed by the doctor by calculating, weighing, measuring and mixing the ingredients

Evidence of therapeutic intolerance. (Prescribing Error) Provides pharmacological information when responding to questions and inquiries from healthcare professionals; Counsel patients about pharmacological treatments.

Ensuring and approving the correct labeling of medicines (dual registration for life-saving medicines)

Counseling the patient about the dosage of medication in an appropriate manner.

Single-dose delivery to minimize dose-related medication errors

Maintaining cleanliness in the aseptic area (laminar hood)

Preparation of medicines including 3% saline solution

Retrieval of medication and disposables from clinical areas to minimize theft.

Conduct testing/analysis of samples by the POCT device at sites selected for P1.patients

handover/relief at the end of each shift in a controlled format.

Any other task assigned by the supervisor
