Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in DHA-2, Islamabad for a Textile and Fashion Designer. The Textile and Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating the latest fashion trends and designs for women's ready-to-wear garments. The Textile and Fashion Designer will be required to design and develop textiles and fabrics, draft patterns for garments, and follow through the entire production process from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Textile/Fashion Design or a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience of at least 3-5 years in textile and fashion designing.
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, and 2D/3D CAD.
- An excellent understanding of patterns, prints, and textures to create and develop various outfit designs.
- Able to visualize and visualize the envisioned designs to draft patterns.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, and having the ability to multitask and handle projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the artisanal quality of every Batik product is maintained.
