Full Job Description
We seek an experienced Content Editor for an SEO Agency working with SaaS companies. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all content produced by the marketing agency meets the standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance required to meet the needs of its clients. You will work closely with the content team, and writers to create high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, landing pages, product listicles, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit content: You will be responsible for reviewing and editing all written content produced by the agency, including blog posts, landing page etc. Your role will be to ensure that all content produced is of the highest possible quality in terms of language, style, and accuracy.
- Ensure brand consistency: You will have to ensure that all content produced by the agency maintains the brand’s tone of voice and style. You will need to communicate with the writers and designers about the brand guidelines and work to maintain consistency across all materials.
- Plan and create content: You will be responsible for planning and creating content that meets the client's needs. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will liaise with clients and the content team to develop ideas and produce high-quality marketing materials.
- Research and analyze industry trends: You will need to keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that all content produced is relevant, engaging and meets the needs of the target audience.
- Collaborate with team members: You will be required to work closely with the content team, writers, and designers to produce high-quality marketing materials that engage and delight the target audience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in content editing for a SaaS-based marketing agency.
- Ability to produce high-quality content from a brief or an outline.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Passion for digital marketing and keeping up with industry trends.
