Join an ambitious Network Team:
As a member of the DSV Road division's Network Team at our Hedehusene headquarters, you will collaborate directly with colleagues locally as well as with a broader European team. We are a multifaceted team of operationally and technically skilled individuals from a range of backgrounds.
Help build a better Groupage Transport Network:
You will have the chance to participate in global network initiatives for current and future networks in this role. You will also collaborate with the operational team to guarantee that we are always seeking methods to enhance our analytical proficiencies and capacities. You will work directly with the team's operational expertise as a business analyst. Along with helping to build and lead internal initiatives to enhance network capabilities, you will assume the main role in analytical activities pertaining to our groupage network projects.
Your tasks will include:
Oversee and carry out optimising activities for projects in our road network.
Participate in and/or assume accountability for network project-related analytical work.
Make and manage master content and data structures.
Present complicated analysis findings in an easy-to-understand, succinct manner.
Create and manage fresh services and solutions for data analysis, including specialised software.
An analytical talent passionate about operational challenges.
The average candidate holds a degree in operations research, supply chain management, data science, transportation and logistics, industrial engineering, or another similar discipline with an emphasis on math and analysis.
The ideal applicant is driven, a team player who takes initiative and does well in a dynamic work environment.
They are driven to comprehend operational challenges and are very meticulous.
In addition to these qualities, we are looking for a candidate with the following:
0–3 years of experience working in a comparable role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. great focus on details.
Advanced knowledge in data processing with programs like SQL, Python, MS Excel, and others. expertise in data visualisation and analysis.
Outstanding ability to manage stakeholders and communicate communicates in written and spoken English with ease.
It is advantageous to have knowledge about or experience with location modelling, transport network design, or network optimisation.
