Motivated Manufacturing Associates are needed to help us in our endeavour to make the future more environmentally friendly.
The position is a member of our Västerås-based, outstanding, fearless, and enthusiastic production team.
By working with us, you will play a significant role in the founding of Northvolt Labs and help construct one of the first substantial battery plants in Europe.

Before a product is put into large-scale production, it is designed, tested, industrialised, and qualified at Northvolt Labs.
Since Northvolt is a multinational company with a diverse workforce, all of our everyday work is done in English. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be in charge of the machinery and raw materials that go into our manufacturing.
You'll operate in accordance with Northvolt routines and values.
Since maintaining a safe production line is our top concern, it will be essential to every lab task.
Working closely with shift leaders, production managers, safety, quality, environment, maintenance, and process teams are all part of what it means to be a Manufacturing Associate.

Key responsibilities:
Make sure that operations follow the production plan and that production proceeds as planned.
Manage the tools and supplies used in the manufacturing process.
Participate in the work being done on the manufacturing line and shop floor. autonomous machine maintenance and cleaning of the shop floor and surrounding areas.
Report equipment malfunctions and variances, and carry out root cause analyses for a range of problems. Ensure a secure environment by using Lock Out Tag Out.
When doing equipment repairs or inspections, follow the procedures.
Engage in proactive work related to Safety, Quality, Environment, and Improvement in accordance with Northvolt policies and laws.
Encourage managers and coworkers to establish a positive work environment by promoting motivation, engagement, innovation, open communication, and high aspirations.
