Summary:
Patients in designated clinical areas receive nutritional care that is directed and coordinated by the clinical dietitian. It is your responsibility to do nutritional assessments, create and carry out treatment plans, educate patients, and interact with doctors and other members of the health team.
For a brief period, Stephens Hospital is providing all qualified dietitians with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000!
The offer of employment for a full-time or part-time dietitian post is accepted by the qualified individuals. Bonuses for part-time employees are prorated; per diem employees are not eligible.
Employees who now work for MaineHealth are not eligible, and those who have left the organisation are not eligible until they have been out of work for more than six months.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Education:
A bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences or dietetics from an approved college or university is necessary.

2. License/Certifications: 
A current dietetics licence from the relevant state or states is necessary. It is necessary to register with the American Dietetic Association. A valid driver's license is required for jobs in home care, and the vehicle used for work must be insured against liability according to agency regulations.

3. Experience: 
It is ideal if you have two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) creating treatment plans and performing nutritional evaluations for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients.
