The Opportunities:
The Västervik Hospital's dermatology clinic is seeking a new dermatology expert. The dermatological clinics in the Kalmar region and the south-eastern healthcare region of Sweden work closely with Västervik Hospital, a smaller emergency hospital that houses clinics and specialists.
In addition to treating outpatients, you will serve as an expert consultant to additional clinics at Västervik Hospital as part of your responsibilities as a specialist physician. A broad spectrum of specialists in the dermatological clinic are keenly interested in the advancement of new technologies and therapeutic approaches. The pathologist, ear-nose-throat clinic, and surgeon work closely together to coordinate the medical management of skin tumours, and digital recommendations have strengthened the relationship with primary care. You will interact with patients at the dermatological clinic and start appropriate venereology and general dermatology treatments.
Among the services we provide to our patients are wound care, PDT, bath and light therapy, and treatment for hyperhidrosis. We care for one another and the clinic's best interests in an open and friendly work environment. About You:
We are seeking a licensed dermatologist or venereal specialist from the EU or EES. You must prioritise the patient, possess solid professional knowledge, and be accurate and self-assured in your work. You can prioritise the clinic's needs, work well with others, and adjust to changing circumstances. To join our team, you must have strong communication skills and a desire to grow the clinic and yourself. Proficiency in Swedish is a prerequisite for employment as a licensed physician in Sweden.

Terms of Employment:
You must be proficient in Swedish at a B2 level before relocating to Sweden. The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare must accept your medical licence. The licence application can be found at https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/en/.
To get to the C1 level, we provide further Swedish language instruction.
It will immediately become a permanent employment if the evaluation period is deemed suitable and you exhibit the necessary abilities approved by Region Kalmar.
Every contract complies with national and local collective bargaining agreements.
Your pay is determined by your experience and qualifications.
