The team:
We are seeking a data scientist with experience to become a member of SVA's analytics team.
This group is in charge of data analysis and optimisation for advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving systems.
The team currently receives data from about 800 000 cars, and in the upcoming years, this number will rise even further.
A little bit of data is uploaded to the cloud each time the car's ADAS system makes a judgement.
The analytics team works to annotate that data, using machine learning algorithms in part.
They also analyse all the data and provide suggestions for enhancements and insights to the SVA functionality teams of developers.
The role:
As a member of one of SVA's analytics teams, you will be instrumental in providing accurate and pertinent data to the AD/ADAS development team so that future function development may be enhanced.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, manage, and enhance data pipelines to manage massive fleet data associated with AD/ADAS operations.
Make and distribute dashboards that offer real-time data and measure company KPIs (such as crash boards and functional utilisation).
Analyse and report on performance trends, fulfilment, and business objectives for AD/ADAS.
Work together with groups to identify analytics needs and promote data engagements.
Using data-driven insights, assist in ensuring the safe and effective deployment of AD/ADAS functions.

You most likely keep up with the developments from the important figures in the field.
You have been introduced to machine learning and data science through your schooling, and you are interested in these fields.
You have a strong sense of self-motivation and a desire to grow.
You enjoy figuring out difficult puzzles.
You recently completed your Master's or Bachelor's degree in Python programming with a focus on Mechatronics, Electronics, Engineering Physics, or a related discipline.
knowledge of data visualisation software. a valid driver's license and passion for cars and the automotive sector.
Swedish is a plus, and fluency in English is required. Swedish driver's license.
Talent program:
This role is a partnership involving Hubbau & Volvo Cars and is a component of Hubbau's talent initiative. You will operate as an independent contractor in your particular job at Volvo Cars while hired by Hubbau for the full 12-month duration of the talent program. The goal is for your work with us to seamlessly move into a permanent role with Volvo Cars later on.
