We're helping a top primary building contractor that works on data center, commercial, fit-out, substation, biopharma, industrial warehouse, conservation, retail, residential, healthcare, and educational projects. They operate in both the public and private sectors. The company is in need of an MEP Commissioning Manager due to its ongoing expansion. This person will be in charge of supervising the commissioning process of all mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects, making sure that these systems are installed, tested, and operating in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. 
Principal Positions and Duties:
. Create MEP commissioning programs and plans in accordance with the standards, specifications, and needs of the project. 
. Make sure that the MEP commissioning operations are in line with the project's goals, timelines, and processes by collaborating with the designers, subcontractors, project AP department, and QA/QC. 
. Oversee the MEP commissioning process to guarantee correct installation, functionality, and performance. 
. Collaborate closely with the MEP installation teams to carry out system integration testing, performance checks, and testing. 
. Verify that MEP systems adhere to design guidelines, legal requirements, and standards. Conduct inspections to find any flaws. 
. Collaborate with project teams to create fixes for mistakes or shortcomings and guarantee prompt resolution of issues pertaining to MEP commissioning. 
. Maintain thorough records of all MEP commissioning operations, including test protocols, inspection summaries, and equipment records. 
. Get commissioning reports and supporting paperwork ready for submission, including test scripts, compliance declarations, and other relevant papers. 
. To guarantee a seamless transaction and transfer of commissioned systems to facility owners and operators, keep in touch with project teams. 
. mechanical or electrical engineering degree. 
. shown success in commissioning MEP systems in the construction industry, with an emphasis on data center projects. 
. familiar with MEP commissioning guidelines and standards. 
. Proficiency in problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and organization. 
. competent in commissioning tools and software.
