Every few months, we take on new projects and discover new universes. We discover the trade secrets of retail chain marketing one day, examine satellite imagery the next, and then evaluate really fascinating data from the home market. Our projects provide us the chance to understand firsthand how many different sectors operate in addition to testing our abilities in challenging statistical, computational, and technological difficulties.
We are now seeking a new R/Shiny Developer with a background in life science to join our team because we are expanding quickly.
We anticipate that:
.  you will be proficient in R.
.Knowledge of requirements gathering and backlog management; 
. proficiency with Git and other version control systems; 
. ability to handle, evaluate, and display biological data, especially clinical data; 
. proficiency with R/Shiny or JavaScript for creating websites or web apps; 
. and familiarity with creating and managing R packages
. PhD in bioinformatics or a similar field (such as computer science, data science, biostatistics, or mathematics) or comparable professional experience
. If you are based in Poland, you have a valid ID; if you are based outside of Poland, you have a valid passport.
We would also value the following: 
. Knowledge of basic molecular biology and bioinformatics concepts; 
. proficiency with bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., Bioconductor, BLAST, NCBI, EMBL, PDB, PubMed); 
. proficiency in designing and maintaining reproducible data processing pipelines (e.g., Nextflow); 
. proficiency in applying data science approaches (data engineering, machine learning) to business problems; 
. and the capacity to use sophisticated JavaScript to create aesthetically striking applications.
. Understanding and proficiency with Shiny's advanced mechanisms, such as bindings, register DataObj, performance, promises, single-threading, etc.
. familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
. familiarity with database management systems like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
. Experience working with scientists and conducting clinical studies
